Today has been truly miserable here in Liverpool. It has been raining pretty much all day or as us scousers say, 'Its lashing down out there', ha.
There are many good things about rainy days, some of which are.. duvet days! We all love duvet days, sit in bed all day with your laptop or phone, googling things or watching funny videos on youtube. Crafting day! I dont need an excuse but if i did, rainy days would be my excuse. Tv or dvd marathons! They go hand in hand with snuggly pjs, a blanket and snacks to hand (i always have snacks to hand. whoops).
Today has got me thinking about easter. Makes me wonder what people do with their families over the easter holidays and if anyone has any traditions? If you do please comment and let us all know, i personally would love to know.
My plans have changed completely this week. I was meant to be going to Darrens mums for a roast dinner ( a meatless roast dinner- i will put a post about me becoming a vegetarian). But my plans have been redirected to wales. My dad and i are going to wales thursday to monday, we are going to see my nan and aunty.
All this writing has made me thirsty, Darren must have read my mind because he has just made me a hot chocolate. What a babe! With it being nearly easter i found this fitting.

Its a dressing table with an office chair, but hey im not flushed with cash so you have to make do with what you have, and i love it. I find it relaxing looking at the rain on the windows and candles lit with my yankee frangrance burning in the background.
This morning when i woke up, who did i find next to me that shouldnt be there?
Yes thats correct, Pippa. Darren left for work early hours and she saw an opportunity to sneak in. Naughty girl.
Even now as im writing they are by my feet. As i said on their page, they love snuggling. Pippas theory is a snuggle a day keeps the vet away.
I just love the fact she knew Darren was leaving and decided she would jump up and sneak under the covers and she didnt wake me?!
Anyway back to the easter chocolatey theme...
I will be uploading a recipe either tomorrow or wednesday, which is super easy to make and sooo crafty, which makes it easily a favourite amongst crafters. Its a fun family craft which ends with full tummies and chocolatey mouths :)

This is a late post i know but i didnt have a blog around mothers day and we had such a lovely day i wanted to share it with you.
We went to a lovely garden centre in the early afternoon, Me, mum and Jamie (my little brother). We where not meant to end up at the garden centre we did, mum got lost. We where hoping to go to Bents garden centre but im glad we didnt as this garden centre has, wait for it ... A DOG CAFE. How cool is that!! Not only that but they sell hand made dog cakes and dog tea for only cheap too!! So between us we will be taking our dogs one at a time next time for a coffee, cake and catchup. Well in the dogs case tea, cake and catchup :).
Now the only problem i have is i cant for the life of me remember what this garden centre was called. It was in Leigh if that helps? We will be going again so i will post the name as soon as i know. We where just made up because living where we do its not often you get to take your dogs into places, its a very countryside thing and being a massive lover of the countryside style and ways i was in love!!! Both me and mum where.
me and mum both had tea and a roast pepper and brie cheese baguette with chips and salad and not sure what jamie had :/ i cant remember, whoops.
whilst walking around the garden centre Jamie decided to give me a nickname ...

Nice one Jamie. So i kind of over did the colouring of my eyebrows a little bit, haha, i wasnt allowed to forget it anyway. I personally didnt think they where that bad at all haha.
So to get him back whilst we where walking around the outside area of the garden centre i decided to lock Jamie in a dog run cage haha, he totally deserved it.
Haha sister pay back!!
Now i have to share this photo because me and mum where in stitches laughing from this.
Now you might look and think what is so funny but what mum and i did not realise is it was a toy dog. We where just walking past looking at dog collars on the other side and then we both clocked eyes on it and jumped out of our skin, why? I really dont know but it was funny and we where laughing for ages. I suppose its the little things haha.
Later on we went to my nanas to do her an afternoon tea in her house so she wouldnt need to worry about going out again. It was lovely. Never had afternoon tea before and it was fab!!
We had a lovely day and went home feeling extremly full and fat haha. It was a lovely way to end the day though.
