More about me

Hello and welcome to My Little Red Door. A space for me to record all my thoughts, feelings, memories, photos, recipes and favourite things.

I decided to do this blog because i enjoy reading other peoples passions and stories and i love the fact they share their memories with me and all their readers and i wanted to do the same with you. Not only is this a place to record my life but it's a place where friends and family can come to get to know me a little better and catch up with me in their own time and place, and for my children to be able to read and feel a part of this space also.

I am from liverpool and i am 25, I became a vegan late December 2015 and you can read my story on the blog. we now just have our one lovely doggy Pippa who I talk about and introduce on her own Wage who she shares with our late dog Jack. I have a gorgeous boyfriend called Darren (pictured with me above), I'm sure you will see him being mentioned here and there and our beautiful daughter Harlow also pictured above.

A few things about me that i love!!

  • I love the colour Red and Purple. These are probably my favourite colours.
  • I love sheep. I always have and since then i have always loved crafting with wooly products :)
  • I love Hearts. They are so feminine and sweet.
  • I love cooking, it relaxes me and the kitchen smells so good!
  • I love love love cake and chocolate. Who doesnt?.
  • I love Enya and all relaxing and tranquil music.
  • I love the countryside. I always feel at home when i go.
  • I love ... craft shops. Just anything craft. Its my passion and i wouldnt be me without it.
  • I love flowers and bubbling streams- I should have been a fairy!
Im going to share with you my little dream of how i would love my life to end up like, and for you to get an idea just how much i would like to turn my dream into a passion..

'We would live in the countryside, nowhere specific. In a gorgeous country house with ofcourse, A Red Door! It would have a big garden for my dogs to run around. I would own and run my own craft shop, and have my dogs in a little bed under the till but free to run around to greet my customers. It would be so colourful and welcmoming and probably have some relaxing music playing in the background. On my days off i would go out with Darren and the dogs and ofcourse our children :), to walk through the countryside and craft all night long infront of a big roaring fire with Darren and our babies all snuggly on the couch...'

Oh to dream eh?

Thankyou for taking the time to get to know me, if you would like to message me to ask me anything or just say hello then please do, i will be more than happy to respond.
